This oak tree is the oldest one in the oldest city park in Bulgaria – the Danube Park of Silistra. The Old Oak as it is commonly known to everyone around, was planted back in 1910. The Danube Park itself was created in 1870. In 1991 it was designated as a natural monument of national importance. The oak tree has a central place in our daily lives and it is always surrounded by many people, who take from its energy for life.
